The Empire Strikes Back ...

Those of you who follow my musings realize that in an earlier episode -- I battled the big attack spider in my bedroom.

I was hoping the battle was over ... but I'm afraid NOT.

Last night, I wandered into the bathroom at about 3 am, flipped on the light -- and a giant Black Widow Spider was struggling in the sink.

I haven't seen one of those in quite a while -- years maybe.

Seems Nancy went to her storage unit this week and hauled over her spider infested cache of Halloween decorations.

I hate that storage unit. Every time she hauls something over here, it is infested with spiders or mice.

So, tonight -- another black spider attacked in my bedroom. He was moving slowly -- so I had time to grab a Kleenex and throw him into the toilet -- and flushed him to the sea.

I think there is a Steven King novel in all of this ... if I survive.

I've sprayed my room and the bathroom with spider killer spray. Hope I don't choke out tonight. LOL!

Night all.

You really are funny! Sinking those blighters to the depths of the deep blue sea is my favorite form of disposal, IF there is enough Kleenex to keep them away from me. I hate them. They represent all things terrible and horrifying. As for that storage unit, Kathy is right. I call all that stuff crap as well. Never mind that we all have it, it's time to scale back now that our kids are grown. Give it to them and let them deal with the guilt of disposing of all those memories. Sniff.
