Another Day, Another Dollar ...

... and today is payday. Whoo-hoo!

I have gone back to my agency again ... and while still doing a ton of work for West Coast Entertainment, I am back to working on contract -- so, I only do billing once a month. Yes, I know. I could do it more often ... but this seems just cleaner to me somehow. The month wraps up. I wrap up my hours and production, bundle it, invoice it -- and wait for payments.

Luckily, my clients pay very quickly. And, once my company is paid -- I can take out a paycheck from myself. Once a month. Now that's a challenge.

But on the day I am paid -- it is great! LOL!

And that's today.

Happy Friday!!!

It's late ...

But I am powered with Snickers ... so I am just a little wired. Probably going to be up another hour.

So, my birthday was fun.

Staff at work decorated my office with balloons, banners and streamers. Brought in a cake. Sang to me. All great fun. Staff all gave me a hug -- knowing full well that I am not a hugger. LOL!
I also got some nice Scotch glasses. Great for my morning grape juice!

I got a new Western WA U sweatshirt thanks to Nancy and Jo who used her 20% discount. Earlier in Sept., Jo and Drew took me to the UW-BYU game. That was great!!!

Jeannette sent me a new Uncle John Bathroom Reader -- LOL! -- which I love. I spend enough time in there -- they should put out several volumes a year.

Joc and Jess sent me a book written by my favorite TV star -- Bear Grylls -- Man vs. Wild guy -- with all his great survival tips. I will always be safe in the woods now. Gift card is also great. If I come visit and disappear for a while, I may be out looking for something creeping around in the garden to eat.

Jake and Nikki took Nancy and me to dinner at Red Robin. That was great.

Received cute card from Penelope, Anna and Emerald. Very funny!

Colton, Laura, Ashlynn and Hunter called and talked to me last night. Looking forward to seeing them in several weeks.

Heard from all you kids. Thanks!!! And from my Sister and a few friends.

Yup, hard to imagine I'm still 39 again ... I think it is the naturally dark brown hair that keeps me so youthful. Only a few gray ones so far. LOL!

Nancy gave me the sweatshirt, some new cooling racks for when I make cookies, and a bag of M&M's and a bag of Snickers.

Thanks to you all for making my day special.

If I forgot anyone or their gift, please remind me. Remember -I am OLD!
