Octoberfest!

I love October. Football is being played. Leaves are turning colors. Last flowers of summer are hanging on for a final fall splash ... and of course, there is Halloween candy everywhere. It just doesn't get much better than that!

I just finished a teaching assignment for Tacoma Community College. That was fun. Had about 75 students in two sessions. Class was held at the downtown Tacoma Goodwill. Topics: Customer Service and Work Readiness. Added a lot of new material over this summer to the course so it was very "content rich" -- just the way I like it.

For the next few weeks -- I think I'll share some of the new material on job searching so you can see what the modern job seeker must know to be successful in getting a job in a tough job market. And, if you know anyone who might benefit from this information, please pass along this blog to them.

So grab a candy bar and come back tomorrow for lesson 1 -- "How to succeed when you go to a job fair".
