Four Ideas You Can Use Right Now ...

Here are four things you can do today that will help you focus on what is most important in your life.

1.  ‘Tis the Season. Make a list and check it twice.

You should start each day with a list of what you need to do to reach your goals. As the day progresses, check them off as you complete each task. At the end of the day -- reassess your list and rollover those that remain to be completed and add new ones as needed. Make your list for the next day.

One caution: don’t get blinded by your list of tasks as they are only stepping stones to the goal.

2.  Take on the toughest tasks.

Stick with it. Chip away at them. Steady, persistent effort will allow you to eventually complete them. Discipline is sometimes defined as doing what you need to do so you can do later what you want to do.

3.  Delegate.

Put others in charge of things that they can do better than you. Find the highest and best use of your time and do that. Delegate the other tasks.

4.  Stop Procrastination.

Great! How?!

Try this: imagine yourself one year from today. Look out into the future. See what life would be like in one year if you do not complete the task at hand.

Choices on what you do today have consequences in the future. Procrastination is a slippery slope. It is an attitude that you will eventually do the task – just not now. Not today. It seems harmless enough – but it will destroy your focus on your end goals.

Get ‘er done – now!

Try these ideas now and you’ll be on your way to further success!

Good Selling!
